Best WP – Plugins

There is one reason why I absolutely love WP and that’s plugins. Plugins make it so easy to run the blog that even the biggest newbie to online world can create a blog that can be competitive for almost any keyword. This is a short list of what I think are the best WP plugins for your blog.
<!-- more -->
  1. All in One SEO Pack – the best WP plugin out there. This is absolutely essential for every blog. Not having All in One SEO Pack means doing a lot of work manually and having less success ranking for keywords.
  2. Google XML Sitemaps – Automatically creates sitemap of your blog which allows Google to crawl your site more efficiently thus giving you better search results.
  3. WP Cache – Speeds up your blog significantly, a must have for new Google algorithms that will include loading time
  4. WP Super Cache – Same as WP Cache just works better. Best is to have WP Cache and Super Cache enabled. There is an option for that under the WP Super Cache Options.
  5. WP Smush.it – I love this plugin, it reduce image file sizes and improve performance of your blog
  6. SEO Friendly Images – Automatically ads ALT Tags to your images and improves search engine results. This is a must have if you have images on your blog.
  7. CSS-JS-Booster – If your blog has CSS this tool will reduce the size of it and will speed up your blog load time.
Some other great WP Plugins
  1. WP Unique – If you plan on posting someone’s article on your blog this plugin will change the code of the article making it completely unique to search engines. What is even cooler about this plugin is that article on your blog will rank better than the original; absolutely the best WP plugin of it’s kind.
  2. WP Robot – Grabs articles from outside sources and posts it to your blog, great when combined with WP Unique
  3. KB Linker – Searched for specific keyword on your blog and links it to your home page; great for inside linking because it uses keywords
  4. Google Analytics for WordPress – very obvious, it’s Google analytics
  5. Quick Adsense – Ads adsense to your blog.
These are some other great plugins out there but you need to find which one will serve best for your particular blog. Some of the above plugins will not work well with your blog but the beauty of WP is that there are so many choices. Pick and chose, see what works the best and don’t worry about the number of plugins that you are using. A lot of gurus think that having many plugins enabled will slow your site down and what not, but if you use them the right way their theories fall flat on their face. I am using 12 plugins at the moment and I am very happy with the speed of my blog.
Don’t be afraid to experiment, that’s the only way to get better at what you are trying to achieve.
